Thursday

Yes, Thursday again! I just made these cards yesterday & they really are a throwback to what we used to make! All the bows, flowers, beads, and ephemera are included in them. The kicker for me is that I used a lot of purchased flowers from a while ago, I used the Spellbinders Coralene Chemise dies from Becca Feeken. Those are probably ten years old! Then I used a lattice die cut that had been shuffling in & out of boxes, and not to mention the pink printed paper. I feel a sense of justification when I use thing that I haven't used in a long time. So here is the exercise in pink!!

A shaped card compliments of yana Smakulas you tube.

Butterfly is one of two from Tim Holtz 1st vault release this year.

                                   Thanks for looking again today!!

Thursday morning

Yes, still here. This time I will share some cards... These are a collection of  (I think,) four sets in the Window with a view series. I used the window with a view basic window set, the botanical, and the backyard haven. I have the up in the air which is the sky 'elements, kite & etc:. I didn't get the coastal set. Here goes!

The cards do have clouds in the background.
And FYI; the lights in the picture are lights for photographing, and I just couldn't get rid of the reflection. I used transparencies for the windows and that is the problem...............

                                   Sorry about the editing!

                                     Thanks for looking!

Thursday April 25th

Just a quick share from yesterday. I was in my craft room looking out the window and there was a robin in the yard. To make a long story short, I talked through the window to the robin, it came closer to the window, and you could tell it was listening. Okay, sounds weird. Just look!  Yes, there are a lot of blooms on the roses............

I told her she was (he was), a pretty bird. I did zoom in, but she didn't fly away.

I used a real camera, a canon sx540hs power shot.  Well, it is a point & shoot, but more reliable than any cell phone. It is always my 'go to' camera.

So next post I have some cards.

Monday

Still Monday & boring TV is on, so I will share another collection! This is the Tim Holtz Bold word text #1. I have shared cards with these dies before, but really liked them, and got them out for another round!

The backgrounds were already made. Love it when I can just pick from a stack and be able to use it

The flowers were premade too!! How cool is that? Tim Holtz
Forgot the O in the 'you'. Maybe it is okay. Sometimes you don't see imperfections until you post.

 Thanks for looking again!

Monday April 20th

Hi from sunny Oregon! Its evening and dinner is over, so, it is time to share some cards. These are cards I did a while back, and they got deleted from my camera stick...Oh no. I had to 're photograph' them. I did so on black cardstock. Not sure I like the outcome. Just let you decide. These are the 'boots' dies from spell binders. Have fun as usual!

Hope you enjoy & thanks for looking!

Wednesday

Hi again!! Here are a few miscellaneous cards. Some are really old wooden stamps, some we took off the mount so that I could use them in the misty.  This is a Northwoods stamp.

The one below is a Penny Black stamp

This is from Outlines Rubber stamps
Next is a foil die, it is prettier than the photo.

I did have more to add, but there is a glitch in the camera stick all of a sudden .... so that is it for now!

                                  Thanks for looking!

Wednesday April 17th

Today I think I might play a little 'catch up'. I have cards that I haven't yet shared and its getting out of control. Had a camera stick that was full. I deleted a bunch of images & now it is okay. So I am using two camera sticks and at my age I confuse easily!! Good grief!! Lets just get started..... the first ones are Tim Holtz wreath die from the vault. I didn't need another wreath. BUT, it is small, and sweet.

I am obsessed with the spellbinders arch dies too. I used it for the TH bunny & chick cards, and the spellbinder monster & dinosaur cards.  My favorite is the wreath with the dark background.

Moving along. This is a big lot sticker set.  It was pretty old.

Next set of cards to share today are the Mix & Match butterflies from Simon Says stamps. Another favorite!

The abstract (?) background is from Uniko in the UK.

Wish I could tell you where the word strips came from. I do a ton of them in all different embossing powders, foil, colored paper and ink all at once, sorry I can't tell what set they came from! I just dump them out.... bags & bags.... and rifle through.

Hope you found something different, although I do a lot of generic cards that could be used for various occasions.

                                  Thanks for looking!
