December 28th 2019

It is Saturday evening and the weather is chilly here. We managed to stay home all day! This could be my last post for 2019.... Just think of that, we are entering a new decade! So without any more 'weather' talk I will get right to the cards to share.

I have had fun with the Penny Black snow globe stamp and die set. Intended to do Christmas cards, but I got so caught up in cute little birds and fairies.

Thanks for looking!
Stay warm!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

HAPPY CHRISTMAS MORNING! It is early and chilly! Just imagine that Turkey about 9 hours from now! This year we have Dianas family for gift giving, appetizers and dinner. Kyle has to work, so we will eat earlier. I still have to make creme puffs with pumpkin mousse for dessert. The maple/carmel syrupy topping is done. Ok I will eat a breakfast bar and share a card.
While we are eating and visiting, lets remember it is Gods blessing that allows us to  live in this country and still glorify the Lord Jesus who was born on Christmas day.
                               Hallelujah!
                            Merry Christmas

Dec 22, 2019

Time to make cookies! Yum. For now I have some cards to show. These are  Heartfelt Creations  Festive winter collection from 2018. I think. They are new to me. Love the cardinals, ( that was Moms favorite), the lantern, and the deer scenes. So pretty
The die is from a set called Festive Holiday. It is such a versatile die and classic in design, yet HC inserted it in with the Wagon wheel die in this collection.

Thanks for looking & Merry Christmas

Friday Dec 20th

Time is counting down pretty fast... Most of the wrapping is done, so that is a relief. On to some baking. Maybe some yummy spritz, maple logs and peppermint something.. (frosted, of course)! For today I will share some cards that were started last year! They were suppose to be 'Thank You' cards for the church to hand out to their volunteers during the holiday season. The woman that was in charge quit, and now I am not so sure if they would get them. The parking attendants, the ushers, and many more. Well, that is the idea. So I just turned them into Christmas cards for the nursing home.
This is a Star background die from Kaisercraft. I cut it 2 times for each card, one in white one in gold glitter paper. The angel is Mariannes die, and the O holy night is from Ali. The base is red cs.

Sunday Morning!

Good Morning!!  Hope you are staying warm and toasty. Here are one of my 'copycat' cards. These are a resist with the oxide sprays. And here is Jennifer McGuires link.

The cards really are more colorful than shown. I used the wilted violet, peacock feather, salty ocean and picked raspberry.

Did six or seven cards, but they looked the same, so I didn't     photograph them! The snowflake & die is a Stampendous set.

Still late Saturday, but have lots more to show! This is the Layered wreath die from Pinkfresh Studio. I paired it with the new Kelly alphabets, also from Pinkfresh Studio. This is soooo easy. I did two layers of the wreath, and embellished with glitter glue. I only did one layer of the alphabets. Look pretty nice!

                        Used a Northwoods designer paper.

Yes, they all have 'greetings' on the inside too.
Thanks again & have a nice night!

Saturday

It is later in the day than I usually blog.  Decided that I really need to share some of my card ideas, or I will be sharing Christmas cards in February!
The top card is an Elizabeth Craft die. Probably used it last year, but this was different in the black white, and gold.

These are a couple of the cards that had 'elements' (poinsettias) already made.
Just got the lacy frame die from Ali Express. It cuts nice and I like it for any occasion. The poinsettia with the jewels in the center was a stamp from Magenta. We used them as ornament toppers. I had a bunch of them fussy cut!
Most of these are for the nursing home.

he card below features the Spellbinder silhouette  die of the children bringing home the tree.

                               Thanks for looking today!
