Good Morning!

This first one is from Simon Says stamps.

The next ones are Spellbinders die of the month

                                          Cute and fun to make.

A very Happy Easter to everyone.

Today my share is unusual. I usually only make cards that celebrate the Easter or Christmas holiday. I think the Easter bunnies, Santa, gnomies, elves, trolls & etc. are adorable. But they have no place in the celebration of our most wonderful religious holidays.

Remember why we celebrate today with John 3:16.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Say a prayer for our country!

Friday March 29th

So I was ready to share Easter bunnies, but I photo'd these cards this morning, and since I like them so much I just wanted to share! And that was a terrible, but true sentence. Ha. Does incorrect grammar bother anyone? Lets get started.

These are a bundle of 4 layered stencils that are set up to make 4 A-2 cards at a time. It is from Taylored Expression and is called 'create in quads abstract'. It came with foliage stamps and dies. Also, there are small flowerpot dies. And of course, a set of sentiments & dies! Lets get started.

The first & third image are the same. I tried showing the stencil, but sorry it doesn't show up well. This was my 'pastel' set of four.

That is 3 of the 4. The next 3 I just used a 'Dune' colored ink throughout.

The fun was just starting, or I was getting the hang of it & it was time to stop. I wanted to do more colors on different papers. For the last 4, I did use kraft paper.

Thanks for looking! Stay tuned for the bunnies!

March 26th Monday

Hi! I have been avoiding the television for awhile. Finally got tired of social media and decided to share a couple cards .  Really easy 'black out' technique. This is a Lisa Horton 3-D embossing folder. I ran it through the big shot. Then turned it over and did some ink blending on the back! I used random colors, mostly oxides, although there could be some regular dye inks. After blending I went over it with versafine black inkpad! Just swipe it over the blended colors!!

I did a 4 1/2 x 6 format. Its okay if you don't mind the bigger flower cut in half!! Ha!

The embossing folder came with a die.... Oops..... did you notice? It might be sideways in these last two cards!!

                                                             Thanks for looking!!

March 21st

Second post today. Lets get started with our Freshly Picked selections by Spellbinders. Another collection that I loved making!

Could add a secondary (smaller) greeting to some of them. And some are intentionally blank until they have a home.

Love the way Spellbinders designed these. Perfectly aligned to one another. This is the Anemone. Probably my favorite, with the Buttercups running a close second!

A favorite is mixing tje flowers!

Yes, I did have fun with these!

Thanks for looking....

Thursday March 21st

Good morning!! Lets just get started. I have a couple collections to share today. These cards are shaped cards. Just liked them better this way than attached to a bigger card. Anyway, as always when I like something I do a bunch!!

The first card is the inside. OOps... the next cards are a large die from Gemini. They had 'happy' and 'love'. I did get the 'love'. I think the critter here is a digital stamp.

Didn't want the pink one to look girlish... maybe it would be better that way. At the very least I need to straighten the sentiment!

Easy to make, designer papers, flowers, critters and more

 Thanks for looking!
