Monday April 29th!

Just one more card! You know how I love using 'old' things, stamps, paper, tools, ink, and etc; that hasn't been touched in, say, 15 years!! Well, this is one of them. Having lots of mounted stamps is not a good thing anymore. Once, mounted was about the only option. So I have been taking my stamps off the mounts. I will do a post on this soon. It is hard to organize categories. The idea is to remember where you put them so you can use them!! Lots to say later. These are the 'Outlines' Rubber Stamps, yes they were around way before the dies. So, yup, fussy cut all the way.

Used two medallion stamps. yes, they look used because they are! You can make endless variations with these, and they are appropriate for any gender.

Thanks for looking!

Tuesday Evening in April

Here is a couple really quick cards. You know I love that Lisette die by Becca Feeken. The one I just used for Easter. I wanted to share these cards also made with the Lisette die.
                                                      Pink and Gold. Yum!
                                   Perfect for fall or Thanksgiving.

Colorful and easy!

For Easter Sunday 2019

April 21st 2019 is Easter Sunday. This is the day He arose. He arose with a mighty triumph over his foes. He arose a victor from the dark domain, and he lives forever with his saints to reign! He arose, Hallelujah! Christ arose. Death cannot keep his prey- Jesus my Savior! He tore the bars away, Jesus my Lord! Up from the grave he arose, he arose!
So yeah, not the Easter chicken or bunny, although they are cute. Christ the Lord is risen today Alleluia!
I did do some Easter cards, but sealed them to mail and forgot to take my pictures. Diana came over this week and I gave her a card, then promptly took it to take the one and only picture!

I used the Lisette oval die from Becca Feeken, and an older Cross from Our Daily Bread Designs. I didn't realize how much alike last years and this years cards would turn out!  Both are white and feature an oval. Next year I will plan better!

Happy Easter

Remember that .....
For God so loved the world that
He gave His only Son
that whoever
Believes in Him shall not
Perish but have Everlasting life.

Cards cards cards!

More card ideas from this morning! Hope you enjoy! This one is mixed media. I hadn't played with that for a long time . The next one is the inside of the  card.

This is an old Magenta stamp. It was colored  with radiant pearls. Remember when? It looks crooked in the photo, but really it is not!
Another card with the oxides, and Neat & tangled flower stamp and die set. The Just for You is stacked and embossed in clear embossing powder. Oxide inkpads, not the spray this time.

Super easy card just paper, foliage, butterfly and a chipboard embellishment from Maggie Holmes Sunny day paper.
Still a couple more to go! Need to go 'photograph' one more!
                                          Thanks for looking,

Oh  one more today..... I think this is an old Penny Black stamp? It is off the mount, so I only have my memory to go on, Ha! I colored it with copics and look at the 'ribbon frame', that is a newish Penny Black die.
Oops, should have cropped that envelope! Ugh....
                             Thanks again,  Mary S

April 18th

Oh Oh, this is Lucys 6 month birthday! She is still a puppy .and she already got in trouble this morning for stealing a small bunch of paper flowers. She hid under the be and was chewing on them!
                                        So sweet!

This is a mixture of cards with different mediums, textures and techniques. The roses were stamped  on water color paper, and embossed in white by my friend Sande. I sprayed a mixture of oxides onto my media mat and added to the paper. When dry, I used the Distress glaze to 'fix' the color.

Have no idea who did the card below. It has been in my stamp room forever. Think this was done with a variety of punches.

These 'Jar' floral cards were a 'happy' mistake! These are a digital stamp that Linda gave me. The original print was sitting on the desk, and I need a background paper. Soo, I  mistakenly printed over the image! Finished off the cards with the oxides around the edge, copic coloring, and diamond glaze on the jar. The
Sending die and words are from Taylored Expressions.

One of the card sentiment for the inside.

Saturday April 13th

Every time I write the date I am amazed at how fast time goes. It is almost tax day!! So that covered, and the weather at 76 degrees today and 85 tomorrow, we can now get to card sharing! These 3 little cards are sooo cute. I was afraid they would be minute, they are small, but not as tiny as some things received from China. The came from Ali Express.

They have a snowflake and a poinsettia like these. Don't you love the bow??

Thanks for looking today!.

Monday April 8th.

These were a change from cards and almost addictive.

I used the Spellbinder 'love set' match die. Kind of deceiving as  it shows a skillet and an egg (?) on the front of the die. For some really pretty Matchbox ideas visit  http://blog.pixiehill.com/

April

So we have been busy busy! Busy making Easter cards, busy eating and napping. Oh, so there is my big secret! I do have one card to show you today. One more using the Tim Holtz wildflowers. I had a lovely layered pink card, but it had a ton of VISABLE foam mounting tape. One of those cards that you just can 't fix. I am really (?) planning to repeat it as the colors were really different.
