HOT Monday!

Supposed to be 117 today! Ugh, still need to  go to the store. Al is fixing breakfast, so while I am waiting, lets take a look at some miscellaneous cards that I did last week!

Easy Serendipity(at least that is what we used to call this), cards with little squares. I thought I edited this, but oops...see my family room.

The little squares are from a stamped, embossed card that didn't turn out. They could be any pattern, or just designer papers. I like the gold edging. The last card (green), was a bunch of paint spattered squares. Been sitting around awhile! Maybe I can recycle it!

The PSX tulip in bucket stamp. Below is the Marianne die that was featured earlier with a power poppy stamp in the center.

Thanks for looking today!

Fathers Day

Today I am sharing a pretty easy card. The stamp set is from Neat And Tangled, and is so versatile! I didn't specifically do father's day cards, but as the set is called Art Deco, it is appropriate for fathers day, Mothers Day, birthdays, Thank you and more. Let me give you a couple links so you can see for yourself!  https://www.neatandtangled.com/collections/frontpage/products/art-deco

Here are my cards, Inspired by Kay Miller, and Daria Grushina. Talented ladies!

Thanks for looking & happy Father's day!

Friday

I would ask where the time went. The first week of June just flew! I did do lots of cards, alot of odd, stamps or supplies were used. Old stamps, backgrounds or dies that were laying around cut. The first ones were stamped on Neenah white paper, with memory box inkpad. All of them were done with my copic markers. The stamp in Indigo blue blush rose.

Loved doing these flowers, and so glad I put them together!
Here are more flowers. These are Darkroom Door flowers Vol. 2. They are so versatile. The first card is just random stamping. The cut flowers are colored  copics. Just a FYI, I struggle with light colors.

Looking at these now, I think I will go add a word die cut.
Thanks for looking

This  is the Sony A6000. I took this at 6:00am this morning in the computer room with barely any light. Love this picture and the camera too! Mostly Gracie!
Continuous shot. There is just a slight movement of the head. So cute, I always say that whenever I see Gracie! At least she is not on her back putting on a show!

Oh, Monday Morning!

Here are a couple 'cute' cards I made. Whimsy stamps had the hot air balloon dies on sale. When they came I just thought they made such sweet cards. Hope you like them. They don't have to be just for kids!

Two in one day!

Early for Christmas, late for Christmas, I do Christmas cards all year long. Takes that long for me to get anything done! This is a Marianne Die that I didn't like at first. The more I worked with it I absolutely loved it. It comes with the candle die. You can use it for any ocassion.

The picture center is from Mariannes collage sheets. I got they from Cuddly Buddly. They are themed almost anything, from Christmas, animals, flowers, birds and sealife. The deer die I used is from Poppy Stamps and the tree is a Joy Crafts die.

One of the two made with spring colors. What a difference! Just a soft image and the pretty designer paper in the background.

Thanks for looking!

More ink Oxides!

Today I will continue showing some ideas with the Distress Ink Oxides. The more I work with them, the more I like them!
Another 'night sky' background. Added the little silver stars, and the 'Believe' die from Elizabeth crafts. The little boy and girl under the tree are dies from Wish.com. Yes, you can read by 'starlight'!

Featured two of these. I like feathers! These are from Wish.com
This card was was brushed lightly, using lighter shades of worn lipstick and cracked pistachio. Of course, I used the feathers diecut  from an earlier, lighter colored background.  Now I  will go add the sequins that fell off. Forgot I hadn't glued them down. Opps!
Thanks for looking!

Love the Oxides!!

Look at what you can do with the Distress Oxide inks! Really like these. They have the opaque properties of a pigment, yet they still react with the water like the distress inks. One of the nice things is that you can use them to stamp and the image impresses nicely.

Sorry I took so long to post this, if you can check tomorrow for more ideas with the Distress Oxides!

Tuesday early early...

Eyes are barely open! It is 4:30am and here I am in the computer room. Yes, I have my coffee! So just a couple cards to share today.

The 'split flower' stamp set is from Unity Stamps. It has lots of phrases to add in the split area.
The next 3 cards are from Concord & 9th stamp company. Love the "Hello Lovely" set
