Wednesday

Cloudy Wednesday! Just one more card to share. It was one of those, I am not sure what I am doing cards. Then happily, it turns out!

Pinkfresh studio Mini slimline bundle. Not sure what to do with it as the circles are pretty big for the size of the card. Sooo I love the braided circle and the dotted & just used them for decoration on the front of the card. Finished the card with the Sticker King 'stickers'!

                                 Thanks for looking!

Wed June 30th

Last day of the month, but certainly not the last day of heat! Fortunately we are supposed to have a cooling trend. Supposed to be 95 today! Wow!

These cards were made 'almost' by hand. I used a simon says stamp die for the frame. I pretty much copied the instructions from Bibi Cameron. They are so sweet. I hope, if Bibi sees this, she knows that this is a compliment!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V679ZrZnPBI&t=1s  Take a look and enjoy. These are my cards.

These really are easy to make. If you look at one of my last posts, I did use the idea for my fairies. I would love to do more with the red!!

Lucy Lou sleeping while I work. She started in the middle bedroom today, yes on the bed. Then she went to the couch in the living room. And after her kibbles and 'goodie', this is where she is now!

                                                               Our spoiled little doggie!

Saturday June 26th

Good morning! So far it is lovely here, but soon it will zoom into the 100's. Good day to make more cards! Today I will share Pinkfresh Studio stamp set, washi tape and die to match! Love this set. There are extra little floral stamps in the set with the die that cuts it all at once! Yes, one cut for the washi tape and one cut for the stamped images!!

There are different backgrounds on the cards. This is a pearlescent minty green. The Happy birthday and the Thank you dies are from pinkfresh studio.

Above pic shows the package configuration of t he die, stamp & tape. Below it is a close up and a couple cards .

Cards below are on a smooched oxide background. The doily shown on the one is from Mariannes.

These two backgrounds are copic refills ( like doing alcohol inks), with blending solution on vellum. Like the lighter one best. Fun.

Sorry this was so long, but I had to share all of them, even though they were similar, they were different!

Sunday

This is after the 'yummy' ribs! And corn on the cob. Yes, it was yummy! I do have a quick card to share. This is a 'slimline size from Maker Forte. Again, this is one that I wanted to keep stamping!

Thinking that the blue could be watercolor, shaded with copics for added color. The others are all colored with copic markers.

I didn't edit very well either.
Thanks for looking & stay cool !

Fathers day today, nice start to the day. Doug called early. Now Al is fixing ribs! He is having trouble walking around, but he is still cooking. Plus it is 116 degrees here! When he makes ribs, he puts them on, gets to sit down, then turns them in 45 minutes, and then again in another 45, and one more time for 30 min.  He uses the weber as a smoker. He doesn't have to stay out there the whole time, thank goodness.

Last week was busy and fun. Dawn came to visit and we did our usual craft non-stop for the weekend. We tried the Gemini Hot foil and, thankfully, the next day the heating element went out. Its all good. I just have to wait for another one. Then my 5 1/2 year old Gemini stopped working, just quit. That is my baby. So onto the big shot. It was okay. Ordered another Gemini. Then Al .....long story short.... fixed it, it was the cord. period. It is still my baby, and another new Gemini joined the family friday. I better get busy!!

Look, there is Lucy looking out the window.
One of Dawns cards. Cute Colorful! Love it!
This is what I was doing. Another colorize.
I can't remember if it is Theodore or Clarence!!
That is it for now!!
Stay Cool

Saturday June 12 th

Here we are! Another week has come and gone. Wanted to share a couple cards today. This is the 'radiant' oval by Spellbinders. Loved this one, and wished I could have done more of the piecing techniques. It is almost 'too' easy to make this card. Just vary the colors and you will have a different perception each time!

The pink and gold are a favorite!
This is pretty easy. Next time I would just do the flowers, not the oval.
Thanks for looking!

Monday June 7th

Hooked on something else. Still die cutting, just MUSHROOMS! Many mushrooms.... After this I have a Woodware tall stamp to stamp..Yes, its a mushroom. This die is so easy & fun ! Try any color, add any critter or the precious fairys that are included. Since I didn't photograph the die, I will share with you the link to Whimsy stamps. https://whimsystamps.com/collections/slimline-dies/products/build-a-fairy-garden-die-set?variant=32287914557510   You can enjoy more examples as well. Here are my variations on the Fairy garden set.

Don't  you just love the Mo Manning baby fairies??

All the above were done with the slim line dies, the one below is a 'mini' slim line.
Before the embellishment below. I need to 'fix' the grass ?
