Saturday morning & I just noticed that I already posted the pretty cardinal cards from Memory Box. I thought about deleting the post, but they are one of my favorites so they stay a second time!

For today I will show another favorite. This is a Gemini die. And, all the dies that make it easy to make a triptych card.

The nativity scene dies are included as well as the sentiments. I used the Tim Holtz 'wise men' die from last year as my cover. The original card from Gemini used a lovely sponged, shaded background. I speeded (is that a word?), up the process by spraying white paint on a 12x12 sheet of navy cardstock. All the cardstock is neenah solar white, 80#. Believe me it is heavy and pricey to mail.

That is all for now..........Hopefully, no more repeats!

                                       Thanks for looking,

It is after dinner now, and the last couple days have been busy. All of the Christmas cards to our family & to the 2 charities are now mailed. Yeah! Next year I am concentrating on flat cards for my family! Ha. Would like to finish about 30 more cards in the next couple days for the nursing home here. In the meantime, I would like to catch up on some of the Christmas cards I made and didn't post!

The first in those are the bird stamp set and die from Poppy stamps or Memory Box. It is named 'The spirit of Christmas'. Really pretty.

I actually shouldn't wait to show the cards, as sometimes I forget what technique, color was used! Here is simply copic markers. The background is a pinkfresh stencil.

Saturday

Good morning! Just a couple 'cute' winter cards to show you today.

Spellbinders little Christmas gnomie. So fun! He even has legs that move back & forth if  you want them to. Easy, except for 'glue' which can be messy. Used the package dies from the  'Girl with the packages' dies. I just haven't phographed them yet.

                           Hope you enjoyed looking. Thanks!

December 3rd!

Already December! Yes, we are getting ready for Christmas. We put both trees up early this year. I love looking at the 'lights' when there are no other lights on. See how the tree is reflected in the glass door? This is the kit/family room & this tree is all about the memories of our family. Ornaments painted by Diana & I, gift ornaments received, santas I sewed. Whew! That was a long time ago!!

.
That is our all 'gold' tree. Birds, nests, baubles, angels &   stars. It really is pretty. I purposefully added the dog on HER couch with this tree also reflected through the window! The dog, The dog, as long as we have Lucy we have excitement!
So this last picture is with the lights on.

Next post will be all about the cards!

                                                                     Thanks for looking!

Sunday

We will see how this goes. There is  no part of my computer that is working right. My photoshop is gone. Yes, gone. I have a scan disc, (one of many), and the info on it went somewhere?? Guess I have to wait till Monday. I think this is a virus caused by Webroot. We will see how far I get today! More spellbinders cards to show. I just photographed them this morning, and am hoping the photography will make up for the lack of editing. Hopefully when I put the camera disc in the computer, I won't lose that too!! Don't they just make you happy??

I added some verses to some of the cards after I photographed them.  And some greeting inside too!
Thanks for looking! The card below makes me happy too. It is with the birds that I used for the birdhouse dies. Another Spellbinders set.

                                          Have a great day!

Saturday

Nice weather and a pretty morning! Hello to all and hope you take a look at a few cards I haven't shown you yet. The mushroom and Gnome stamp are from Woodware. It is perfect for a slim line card.

                                           Hope you enjoy!

Wednesday

Happy Birthday to  Linda P. So sorry I lost you, after more than 50 years.  Happy birthday to Dawn and our great granddaughter Ally!! Wow! So, being far behind as always, let me just share these Spellbinder Kalidescope dies today.

Notice all the jewels on the 'Have a Blessed Day'card. These are the Spellbinders essential jewels in crystal. I am obsessed with the little sparkly look of these and the gold ones.

The sentiments are from the 'mini sentiments' foil set.

Have a couple more of these to show, but for now this will be it. Having a problem with the images rotations. They are horizontal cards, but keep reverting back to vertical . Hate when you have to read upside down!

                               For now 'thanks for looking'
