Monday December 18th

OH my gosh, I couldn't get into my blog at all. I have been dinking with security by google, and just couldn't make it work. Hopefully, I didn't lose my train of thought too badly!
This is an extension of the Spellbinders advent calendar post. Again just a reminder I am only opening the 'doors' to the calendar as planned. Today is day #18.  My last post was a combination of the little turtle die #6, the mushroom die #8, word stamps day #13, & the layered flower dies from day #10. Start with a couple more of the flower dies!
Love these! The Hello die is from day #16. You will see that, and the strip dies with the turquoise flowers from day #11.

These work great with the foil machine!

Little strawberries and foliage from day #12. Add the 'hello' die from day #16, and the word stamps (to someone special), day 13!! This collection is so nice!
Today is Day #17 (actually day #9 & #18 are packages of sequins!) Day #17 is a collection of little 'arches'. You will see more of these. Just the mini aspect makes them sooo cute!
I needed tags for a couple presents this morning, and I think these worked perfectly!

Thanks for looking and have a great evening!

Tuesday

Happy Tuesday. It is me again with some ideas from the Spellbinders new advent calendar surprises!

Today is day #12 so we are about halfway through December. I will show what I have played with so far. Yes, played!
Starting with day #1. It is a little car die with a package on the car. So cute!

Next day #2  A small square flower stamp

Next day #3 Lacy border die and shadow
                                     this is really pretty!

Next day #4 To you, From me words dies

Next day #5 dotted slim embossing folder

Did a 1/2 (5x8) piece of cs. Ran it through the Gemini 4 times horizontally. Notice the cuts in the paper. That IS why I love my Gemini. The pressure is wonderful. The little dots are enhanced. I will use this piece or strips in something soon. Stay tuned!
Now for a favorite!

Next is day #6 The little turtle and balloon die!
So so cute. I couldn't stop!

                                         And one more for today...
This includes day 6 Mr. turtle, day #8 the magical mushroom dies, and day #10 layered flower dies!! Day #7 is a bag of pink glittery pink sequins. Stay tuned for # 7 a geometric stencil!!
So I am up to day #10 with a few more cards to share. Wait till you see day #11 and of course, more #10 flower cards!

Thanks for looking! Have a great day!

Tuesday Dec. 12th

Good Morning to everyone!! Today I have a couple things to share with you. Without telling you how frustrated I was because I couldn't get into my own blog ..............ohhhh. Things happen. The first is the very pretty 'all occasion bow' from Spellbinders.

Sorry, a couple look un-edited. They were photographed in a photo box thing. The white bow is a double. Both have the plaid paper either in the background or the bow. Memory box 6x6 pack.

As you can see, they really are 'all occasion' bows.
Tried to share the Spellbinder video and for some crappy reason, bing wouldn't copy and paste. I tried twice. So check out the spellbinder site and see how easy these are to assemble!

                                           Thanks for looking!

Tues. Dec 5th

Hopefully another fast 'share' for you! I always say that, as you never know what you will run into in the digi/bloggie world! Another of my favorites from Tim Holtz. The layered trees.

Maybe slightly different with text inbetween the stripes on the die. Both dies are Mini slim line. The star backgound is from Crafty meraki.

That is all of the trees for now. Oh, I do have one more that I need to photograph. Actually, it might be my favorite. Check back tomorrow!

Thanks for looking!

December 2nd

Lets do some catching up! These are Holiday blocks by Tim Holtz. I am addicted again! They are so fun and every one is a variation of another.

I tried not to use the turquoise & red combo, but I had a ton of scraps, and I just kept cutting. I think I did about 7 cards and have more that I could assemble before moving on to another color!

Now I cut out monochromatic blues & want to use them as an all occasion greeting card.

                                       Thanks for looking!

December 2nd

Busy busy month!! Thanksgiving was really nice. Went to Ben and Stacys, and had a food feast! Bens food is always awesome. Don't think Stacy doesn't cook, she certainly does, and it is great! Here are a couple pictures from Thanksgiving day. Doug and Heather were here Wednesday night and stayed to Sunday. Dawn brought tons of crafts to  occupy the kids. Nice family day.

                                       Love both of these pictures!

I am still getting used to this computer. I printed pictures of Stacy, Chantelle, (Bens sister), and more people AND the food. Somehow I can't find them now. Frustrating.
Now we are up to December 2nd. This is the second day after Als knee surgery. Wow... This is one reason why we were busy just getting ready for November 30th. Christmas decorations are up, we have food, and whatever we need for a couple weeks at least.  Hopefully he will recover as planned without complications.
So far, just the expected pain and limited use.
Lucy & Bo ... Dougs cute little puppy. Lucy is learing how to be a dog from the puppy.
So enough of the family stuff. I hope you had wonderful weekend with those you love too.
                                  Thanks for looking!
