What a wonderful way to start Monday morning! I was scrolling, surfing, (?), pinterest and found a nice site. http://artbyerinleigh.blogspot.com/2013/02/31-days-of-scripture-art-journalingday_8.html
Hope my link works! She had one of the songs on her blog. I loved it and wanted to share it. I listened to both these and they are inspiring. Guess I will go read about the group. ..

Do have some cards to share.. I had sooo much fun doing these. I am into a lot of things now, mainly pretty, or shabby chic. Guess that is almost collage. Not the way I used to do collage. I look at it now and think sometimes "what was I thinking?"!! Yes, it was messy. Well these cards were somewhat like that. I could splat, (reinkers), spray, (water), or blow with a cleaning duster! I could add more ink and just let it run oh, so much fun! Next step distress the edges and stitch some of the layers. I used a base white, then just tried to match my background colors for the layers. Put the layers together and add flowers, thread, cheesecloth. You could stamp in some spots, add some jewels, and there you have it! Oops, I did do a banner for the front.

Thanks for looking!

I've got another couple new cards to show you. My newest obsession is the Julia Nutting dolls. Paper dolls, so we stamp them, color them , layer them with printed papers, and add accessories. Add sunglasses, shopping bags, dogs, cats, birdcages, Eiffel tower (?),  flowers, jewels, and the list is endless and soooo fun! I thought I might take them to a hospital. Need to find some little (or teenage) girls that might enjoy!

And I have a new toy that makes taking pictures of my cards easier. Here is the link for the photography light box. It comes with 3 color interchangeable backgrounds, a small tripod, and two reflector lights! http://www.amazon.com/LimoStudio-Photography-Studio-Accent-Camera/dp/B009H9KA0A

Just cute!

Arriving at the Bellagio Gardens

Americana theme for the 4th of July

flowers are beautiful!

Let me say "Hello and Happy Summer"! Hope  you are staying cool. Its been in the 100's here for awhile now. The air is working and I can easily  keep stamping! How blessed we are to have air-conditioning!
Made this floral frame card from an old Magenta stamp. Just used Mementos Ink and colored in with copics. The verse was a purchased digital sheet. Love the peachy and green colors!

Made several of these layered cards. Loved making them. Guess that is good that I am comfortable with mass production, as most of my cards go to a church ministry. The cost of postage can become an issue with the layered cards. These have about six layers or 'partial' layers and flowers!  I used a MS punch in-between the layers, and the die is from Mariannes dies. I did finally make one for my daughters birthday that had a 'removable' tag. with a verse on the back side.  Guess I just didn't think of that at first. The papers were mostly old scraps... that I thought I would never use. Felt good to use something that you have had for a long time.  I like the neutral colors for a change too!

Just about time to get dinner tonight, but will try to add some of my favorite cards from 2013. Maybe even earlier 2011-2012 ??
Think I made these when I first got my Grand Calibur.  Both are bright and colorful!  I am into orange and yellow for sure!

Not sure where I got the 'package 'stamp. I see Spellbinders scalloped circle & lacy circles.

Used the Grand Calibur cutting machine and  Spellbinders Scalloped squares with the Crown circles on the top card, and the Butterfly circle background on the lower card. I think the Celebrate & star is an older Just Rite stamp.

I made the circle Happy Birthday on the computer. No, it really isn't blurry on the card. Looks blurry here. The center butterfly leaves a little to be desired. Not so cute.

Hope everyone is having a great Tuesday! This is a first post on this site for me, so lets get started!
This is a card I made with inspirations from the Heartfelt Creations Majestic Morning paper stack.

The colors are vibrant yellows, purples pinks and greens. It just speaks spring to me, even though we are definitely into summer now! I used a variety of dies on this 5x7 card starting with the background die from Sue Wilson. The little gold corners are Spellbinders Marvelous Squares

All the cards feature the 3-D flowers on the printed label from the paper stack. The die is from Heartfelt creations. The die is a 4x6 plate and it co-ordinates with the flower stamp set. The nice part of this set is that you can stamp, line up the flower centers and cut all the flowers at one time! Here  a link for the Heartfelt Creations Rubber stamps dies and beautiful paper pack.   http://www.heartfeltcreations.us/product.php?product=3185

Love the softer colors on this one. I used the Elegant Spellbinder dies as the base. Perfect fit!

This one is smaller at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. You could add (my favorite) a bow !
