Sat June 6th

I will literally try this again!! I was almost done and lost it all! awk! So without alot of tears, I will just show you the 'Truckin through the Season' die creations.

I made. Love this versatile little set.... Used Lawn fawn stamps & dies for the beachy 'add ons'.

This is the license plate "extra" set I purchased. Below shows that the words are as fun to use as a stand alone. Dawn used both sets and made sentences on a card like... smile, Ur great, & wish big. cute!

                                     Zachs graduation card

More everday verse on these. Love the 'Blessed'. Actually the 'love'  is my favorite. Flowers on both the blessed and the Get well are extras from miscellaneous sets. One was fussy cut.

I know there are more, but this is all for today.
Thanks for looking!

Friday

Well today is Friday and I am working on a second  set of cards to show! I have to say I was obsessed with these Spellbinders 'Truckin' through the seasons' dies. I included an 'add on' set of license plates with more sayings.
The 'tree' & 'package with bow' comes in the set.
Added christmas papers from my stash.

Added big tree (Sizzix) on the left on the card above.

Pumpkins are in the original set too. Added extra flowers.

More to show later! love this little truck!

                                    Thanks for looking!

June 5th

Cloudy Friday morning in Henderson, Nv. Temperature is supposed to drop into the 80's this weekend, so that will be nice! We had the 108 last week, and it was still May! Weather is all taken care of, so I will show a couple pretty cards. Fussy pretty. The die is the Royal elegance frames from Heartfelt Creations. It is a beautiful background.
Now I need to finish the red one!  Maybe a Christmas theme.
Maybe this one needs 'something', like flowers, maybe. I didn't want flowers or ribbons, but looking at it now, it does need a little embellishment.

The verse on this is in a set from Penny Black stamps.
That is all for today. Maybe I will add to that minty green card and post it later today.

Thanks for looking!

Sunday Afternoon

Pretty day..82 degrees, but there is a nice breeze.  I've been doing something with pictures most of the day. I saw these cards from a month ago, and thought I might share them. The technique was featured in another Jennifer McGuire video. Easy, white embossed on colored paper, using an 'outline' stamp. Then color over your paper with a colored pencil or water brush. We did this technique 20 years agoFun!

Of course you add the sequins or jewels to the front & repeat the pattern on the verse inside. Pretty.... Better than my photo!

                                           Enjoy your day

Sat. May 23rd

Best last week ever! I know I sound like a teenager, but we had family here to visit. It was so nice! Doug (our son), came. He brought his son, our 18 year old grandson. We hadn't seen Zach in almost 3 years!

Both families traveled a long ways to get here.
This is Stacy (granddaughter),with Jeremiah 12, Ben (stacys husband) holding Savannah age 2.
Big surprise for me, Dawn came with Stacy and Stacys husband, Ben. I didn't know she was coming! Dawn is Stacys Mom.
Perfect. Mom & Daughter
Doug, Diana, our adults. Kyle is Dianas adult son & Zack is the other adult!  They grow up and go.... don't they?

Want to see cute?? Our Great granddaughter.

Lucy loves her and Jeremiah too.
Went to Floyd Lamb park Fed the geese. Good grief it was dirty, hundreds of geese and geesey stuff all over.

Looks pretty, but it is yes "Crappy".
