One more set of cards to show you. These are the Spellbinder 'Welcome dies'. I put off not posting them, as they really do need something else. Spellbinders has a topiary set, but I am thinking I didn't leave enough room for them. Without any more excuses ....

                                   

           Use the hot foil on the background for the white card. This one is really pretty. Nice for an anniversary or wedding. Maybe a different mat??

                        MERRY CHRISTMAS

                     FROM OUR LUCY LOU!  She has been diet restricted this week as she had tummy problems..... So her leftover, yummy, goodie, people food days are over. I have been retrained as well!! She can have another squeaky toy!

              Thanks be unto God for the precious gift of His Son.

December 22nd

 Just wanted to share these cards today. They are sooo pretty, and you know how I love the Honeybee stamps 'Cone flower'. 

A little different from the usual poinsettia. But, I have to say I got the idea from Pollys Pals. I changed a couple minor things, but ultimately this was her design. 

                 Added Tim Holtz pinecones to a couple of the cards.

Tuesday December 21st.

 The nativity card triptych has been one of my favorite this year. I used the Gemini dies for the inside of the card, and the front of the card is the 'wise men' die from last years' Tim Holtz collection. A simpler version of that card is the slimline and mini slimline. I sponged the background with tumbled glass, faded jeans, chipped sapphire distress oxide inks on the top. Close to the bottom edge I sponged the antique linen and seedless perserves.

 

Started wrapping presents and forgot (oh oh), to finish this! Wow, there is something to that 'age' thing!

 Good Morning! I am thinking that these cards don't show as well they could. Lets just see!

                    It is the acetate for the shaker that reflects in the camera...

                                  The verse is last years set by Penny Black

                 Some of the designer papers work better than others. Or, some just really don't photograph as pretty as they are!

             

           This was the 'easy' way to do a shaker, just fold the plastic (not acetate) around the card.

 One week to go to Christmas! For this morning, yes, it is still dark here, I will just share an oldie. This is the JOY Spellbinders die. Not sure if it was from 2019 or 2020. I do know I posted some ideas at least a year ago.

       Think I embellished these with more flowers, leaves & jewels than the other ones.

                                       

                                               

        The backgrounds are varied from designer papers to embossing folders and this last card is foiled with Pinkfresh  'abstract triangles'.

 One more today! Natures allure stamp makes sweet and easy card.

                                                               

Same idea, another Penny Black stamp. This is such a pretty card. Sorry about the red charger plate! It is Christmas!! This one is so like the one above. The oval cut- out with words in the center. Or the bird in the center of the circle cut out. Hope you like!
