Tues November 24th

Two days to get it together! Thanksgiving for family. I always want to start early, but food needs to be freshly made to be yummy!! So without the mouth-watering thoughts (at 3:30am) we will get to another set of cards.

Another easy set made with designer paper. This is this years Echo Park 'silent night' collection. I was so happy to see this, as so far all I have seen is gnomes, bears, and so on, all cute, but they don't have a darn thing to do with what Christmas really means. Thanks to Echo Park for remembering the holiday.

Sorry, I think the first couple didn't get edited. But don't you just love the slim line card? Has to be a favorite.

Okay it is early and I uploaded the same ones twice! Time to go make that banana bread or just drink coffee!!

Monday November 23rd....

I should be getting ready for company, but (oh no), I am still stamping! These cards were really done about a month ago.The card fronts are called 'toppers' and they were from Wild Rose stamps. Some are colored and I got to color some with my copics. I added the banners, backgrounds stickers and words. Pretty easy.

Friday November 20th

It is still pretty nice here weather wise.. Is that a proper sentence?  We were out this week, yes, 'out' is not the normal anymore! When we do go out, we try to get several things done at once. Joann's and Costco. As you would expect there are tons of Christmas decorations on display! Love all the cute things for the yard. Al does lights every year... looks great!

With that in mind and 'no snow' here, I did 'snowy' cards with penguins, snowmen, bears & little deers. I did say cute! The stamp sets  are from Hello Bluebird. I used Frosty Littles & Snow Play.

I left the ex 1/2" on each side. I really just need the left side and I can add a cover and it will look like a book.

I had so much fun making these. This one is a diorama.
Then because I loved the critters, I made some shadowbox cards. Same stamp sets and the Lawn Fawn shadowbox die. Light was an issue when I photographed these.

Next will be the slime line designs with the 'critters' !! Hope you enjoy.

                            Thanks for looking!

Sunday

Good Morning! I thought I would show the versatility of the lattice & circle die from Poppy Stamps. I intended to do it two days ago! In the last post the cards were all Christmas. The ones today are designer paper and very pink!! Enjoy.

Love making these cards! I didn't even use the lattice on the card above. And because I am so slow, I thought I would add these flower cards. This is the Waffle Flower stamp and die. Another versatile set.

                              Attempt at 'no line' watercolor.

Easy technique. Just embossed the bouquet, use white embossing powder to heat set, then use your blending brushes and oxide ink in any combination over the embossed image!

                                    Thanks for Looking!

November 5th

It is already 5 days closer to Christmas! November 5th... So just for fun, I will share some Christmas cards. These are Poppystamp dies. One is a base with the center fold, and the circle die to fit. The other die is the lattice that fits either side of the 4.25 x 4.25 card.

This might show what the dies look like. The circle die has the center circle, and, an extra 1/2" on one side so you can attach 2 together to make a 'gate fold' card.

On the  one below, I did a Heartfelt creations designer paper background, and added the vellum flowers.

The gold one was my first, and it is stunning! It needs a sentiment.

Look for more like these on the next post!

                                   Thanks for looking!
