Still Saturday

Fixed the problem with a simple reboot. So this is the second book. Most of the matts are really dark. That means the backgrounds are dark for the pictures. Two things, pictures usually look good on a dark or plain matt, and you can always change the matts depending on your photo colors.

                                                           Thanks for Looking!

Saturday evening!

Al is making tacos, so I might have time to share some projects. Projects, well, books, more like 'easy' journals. Hope you got the idea, these are really fun. I could have, and probably will make a bunch of them. So used this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKgP91ajBkA
I forgot to mention they are called Multi  pocket albums.

The book is 4 pages, 8, total front & back. They feature 4 horizontal pockets & 4 vertical pockets. Each pocket contains a matted piece of card stock ready for journaling or your photos.

Back of book. Used some foiled pages and  market fresh papers. And of course, plenty of scraps!
Next one is Christmas themed journal . I am seriously thinking about using it for our Christmas pictures. You can squeeze in 2 pictures a page, so at least 20 pics!
Well well well.... My photo editing system says my system is locked??? and I can't save my edited photos. Stay tuned for tomorrow for the next fun journal!
                                       Thanks,
                                        Mary

Black Friday!!

Okay, lets pretend I managed to post these two cards yesterday!! I have been working on other projects and I am sorry that Thanksgiving took that back seat this year. I personally have so much that I am thankful for. This is a day late and cute..

                                                              They were fun to make!

                                                       Thanks for looking!

Tuesday November 26th

Couple pretty cards to share. They feature Pinkfresh Studio 'No one compares to you' word stamps and the Lovely blossoms floral These are my colors, but the ideas are from https://channin.wordpress.com/page/4/  She uses the prettiest color combos, placement, and there is a video.

The alphabet used in the card LOVE is the Kelly Alpha by
Pinkfresh Studios too. You will see alot  of this in the future!

Thanks for looking today!

Wednesday Nov 20th

This morning I will share my 2nd little card stock book. The link to the instructions are on my last post. These are so easy to make. You could call it a junk journal if you decided to 'write' in it. I just like the 'themed' ideas and I usually take the lead from whatever paper I use. This one wasn't planned, who plans mustardy and aqua colors? Look how it turned out using the vintage birds!

Lots of room to 'journal' or for pictures.

Lots of pockets for ephemera or more pictures!

Love the vintage bird in vellum

Last two pages of the book. Sorry about the photo, but they got deleted and I quick photographed them right on my kitchen island. Shadows and all! Like the pockets in the page below. Three little horizontal pockets . I need to do something to the last page??

Thanks for looking!

Sunday Morning

Books, journals and mini-albums. That is what I have been doing until yesterday. I found two little tutorials, one for each book, and since they were easy, I made two each!  Linda, Emily & I went to Paper Bunny (the local scrapbook store) for their semi-annual garage sale. After lunch we came back and made one of the little Stacked card stock books.  Here is the link for the card stock book https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yc3t1q7Fn0I   Yes, I did copy & paste and it came up.

On this one I used Sunny Days paper by Maggie Holmes. I had chipboard & Market Fresh labels that matched the Summer feel of the book.

Oh oh, there is plenty of room for more embellishments and  pictures. See Lucy below.  Just an example!

Since this is a pretty long post, I will share the other     book tomorrow.
                              Thanks for Looking!
