August 31st

Last weather update  for this month! Yes, weird. Its 79 degrees now at 6:15. It will be 80 at around 7:00 when we are almost finished with our walk. Supposed to be 109. Yeah, hot!!
Here are a couple easy ideas today. Darkroom Door stamps and oxide inks.  The only problem I had was trying to decide or find (?) an appropriate stamp or decoration for the inside.

Thursday Aug 29th

Oh my goodness, how fast these months go by. Today I am continuing with the 'washi tape' theme. The brown design is about 2" wide. It was from Ali The butterfly washi came from the dollar store. This is really prettier than the picture!

The Christmas tapes are from Alexandra Renieke (not sure about the spelling, sorry) They are about 1 1/2" wide. I copied the ideas from Yana Smakula. Check her blog for more beautiful cards!

The next ones feature the new Altenew tapes. The black & white one is 7" wide and the gold stripes are about 3". So Pretty! The yellow flower is called Wallpaper. My new favorite!

You can see the large b&w washi tape roll below. I fussy cut the flowers and water colored them. Added them to the stripe border. I used the stripe border inside.
So this card is the best one, Yes, I like it a lot. The flower in the background is the bigger flower on the b&w washi tape roll, the smaller ones are on that same roll, just colored pink.

So that is all for now. Remember to look at the last post. That is all the washi tape from Pinkfresh!

Sunday with washi tape!

It is August 25th. It was 85degrees at 6:30am when we walked this morning. Just waiting for those cooler days!
Today is the day I share images with my washi tape. Like the simplicity of these cards.
Pinkfresh studio really nailed it on this release! There are 3 or 4 wide 'washi' tape selections. I only bought one. The 'Floral cluster/wreath... painted flowers...not sure what it was named. So the tape is paired with stamps and dies! Yes, Stamps and dies. I bought 2 stamp sets, 2 dies, and one washi tape.

The image above shows the wreath & bouquet stamp set. Also the floral cluster dies that match every  one of the images on the washi tape! The image below is the stamp set with the wreath, yes, the dies match every one of the stamps! They are easy to line up too.

Both images show the tape on the roll (above), and on cardstock.

So many possibilities!!

Shows different size. I like 4.5 x 6.
The lavendar oval is a spellbinder die, designer paper, Penny Black verse & washi tape embellishments. The next cards were all  'stamped' using the stamps from the coordinating set.
This was colored carefully with oxide inks.

Used one of the washi tape clusters for another tiny dimension

So that is it for today. Featured the new Pinkfresh collection of dies, stamps and washi tape.
