April 29 2016

Its already the end of April. Somehow, I always am suprised that time just flies by! Wanted to share a couple cards with you. The next two cards were made from the same sheet of designer paper. The paper is from Paper Consortium. The images are tiny flowers, birds and critters. I have two different 12x12 pads. Lovely.

Such an easy card!

April 17 2016

We got up early to put a big pork roast in the smoker. Ummm, hope it turns out good. Yes, I do mean early, like it was on at 5AM. It is supposed to cook 12-14 hours, but it is up to 160 degrees & it has only been 4 hours. How about Brunch? When I finally got some light, I photoed some new pictures to share.
The images in the cards are from stempelglede stamps. It is just one set. The bird and flowers are so pretty.

The top and bottom corners are from the Tattered Lace magazine. Love their dies! The center corner is Mariannes. Nice and soft and springy like today!

April, 12, Tuesday.

Our local scrapbook store just had its semi-annual garage sale. We got to take our outdated or unused 'still goodies' on Saturday and see if they become someones 'treasures'. Just not mine anymore! You know you can't go without finding just one 'fabulous' find for yourself! So for $5.00, ( I thought it was a steal), I bought a bag of ephemera! The Anna Griffin kind that someone bought from the home shopping network. Well, that is my guess.

I used the Cherry Lynn center step die, and absolutely went crazy! I dumped the bag on the oval coffee table and separated by color. Soooo easy. Made 9 cards and have so much more to do!

How cool is this!!! Thank you #25!
And Thanks for looking,

April Showers...

Not so much of a shower this morning, but we will take rain anytime! These little flowers from 'My Favorite Things' don't really need the rain that the flowers in our yard need! Certainly a 'Spring' feeling when you look at them. The stamps are called Mini Modern blooms. There are dies to match. AND there is another set just called 'Modern Blooms' just a little large. I need those too? With the dies, of course......

The three of us Linda, Emily & I went to the local scrapbook stores garage sale. Emily bought a hot set gun for rhinestones. We had fun playing with that!

Fun, easy & pretty what more could I want.

April 2016 Two in two days!

Cutesy cutesy, ( I am not sure that is a word!)these are not my usual cards. I bought a Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine. It had an 'curtained window' embossing folder and stamps that are fronts and backs of a dog and cat!
Kitty front and inside front. There are fishbones and cats paws!

Doggie front and inside. Of course the appropriate words, bones  & paws. Definitely cute.
Embossing folder. Heres one FYI... Don't do a top fold card, the dog on the inside is upside down when you open it. Ha!
Panda baby is a digital. Don't remember where it came from. Maybe if you google it. The circles stamps on the Celebrate card are from My favorite things. You should see the difference in the inked image (solid circle) when you use the Misti!

April 5 2016

Good morning! It is so beautiful here. Probably unseasonably warm, but it would be a lovely morning for coffee on the patio!
Instead I have some bold bright cards to share. These are made with the new Spellbinders 'Vertical Chain' die. That is pretty much it, Em and I got together and went crazy. We layered several colors on top of one another and added either a sentiment or a flower. Thats it!

Picture of the die and a couple of cuts!

Don't you just love the colors?
Ems card. She used the 'long pieces', not the circles that falls out. So we called it the 'waste' and kept using it as part of the layers behind the vertical chain.
This kind of showed up in the wrong place, but again, I do like the color combination.

This is mine, using the 'waste' as the focal point. However, this was Emilys idea. The card below is hers!
Yes, we did have fun that day!
