Wednesday, August 4th

Today I want to share with you an idea from another talented blogger/ creator named Zoska. I will just link to her page and tell her 'Thanks for the inspiration!', then I will share the cards I made. https://apocketfullofscrap.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2021-06-22T14:00:00%2B02:00&max-results=3&start=3&by-date=false

Yes, this is a Spellbinders die. It is called Romantic Chargeour.

                     My digital papers came from
ZoollGraphics on Etsy

Of course I had to do the 'mini' slimline.

The Just a note is from the perfect sentiments from pinkfresh studio. I hot foiled it, although it is really to big for this card. The sentiment strip below is a Tim Holtz red rubber set of lots of words.

                                      That is it for today!

                                          Thanks for looking

August 2nd 2021

Wow! The second day of August. I am really anxious to share this stamp and stencil set today. The are named 'Miss your Smile' from Pink fresh Studio. It really is a stamp and 4 stencil set. Two stencils to color the flowers, and two stencils for coloring the leaves. Talk about easy!! Using the stencils, you could have a couple cards finished in just minutes. Let me share the pics with you.

Sorry about the blur.... Just wanted to show the set and stencils. I used the stencils on both yellow cards. Sponged with the Pinkfresh inkpads.

This top one looks darker, just the photo.

These are the same two cards colored with the 'underpainting' technique. I am going to give you the link for some of the color swatches, This started with Copic YG06, yes, there is an undercoating of yellow green! Move along with the V20. V22, G43 & G40. I couldn't find this particular one. It is called 'emotional'.Check these out https://www.vanillaarts.com/undercover The next one is excellent advice https://www.vanillaarts.com/blog/danger-tutorials Have fun!

The bigger pink flower was colored with copic. The smaller flowers were done with the 'underpainting'. It is called peony punch, but came out darker than I thought.YG06, RV17, RV34 & RV02.

Last one is colored with copics. Dauntingly big flower to shade nicely. Not as quick as the stencils for sure.
Thanks for looking  & Stay Cool

July 31st.

Today is the last of Christmas in July, as it really is the last day of July! These are individual dies from Memory Box. The top die is the scenic with the trees and clouds (?), the second die is has the street light. And the third die is a smaller oval with Christmas trees. The intended design included a fourth die of pine trees. I sponged the background with broken china, tumbled glass, stormy sky, then the squeezed lemonade in the center.

The dies would be pretty with a variety of images in the center openings. Too much stuff, too little time!!

                                   Thanks for looking!

Thursday July 29th

It is almost the end of July and I haven't shared my Christmas cards that I did (so far), for this year. Lets just get started.

Love this stamp set from Poppy stamps. I see the birds do need some 'eye' surgery! Aside from my mistake the set is lovely.

The next set is entirely different. Christmas bears in little Scandinavian sweaters. Might have been a digital stamp.

Wednesday!

Well, I think it is Wednesday! Yes, looked it up and again, yes, that is what happens when you are retired. Today I have 3 cut slim line cards to show. They are the 'selfie' animals from MFT. I have done them before, but today I actually finished these!!

Now, I remember I deleted those pictures accidentally. I thought they were on my cell and no they are not. So that is it for the animals today. I already mailed them!

So I wanted to share more than one card today. These are cards masked with the square from Waffle flower. The cards are just sponged with ink, blended and then the image was added with additional inks. Easy cards.

More from the camera stick archive...  The birthday card die is a Sue Wilson/ Creative Expressions die. It is one of the easiest cards you can make for that quick birthday.

                                                     This about it for today.

                                       Thanks for looking!
