Sunday with washi tape!

It is August 25th. It was 85degrees at 6:30am when we walked this morning. Just waiting for those cooler days!
Today is the day I share images with my washi tape. Like the simplicity of these cards.
Pinkfresh studio really nailed it on this release! There are 3 or 4 wide 'washi' tape selections. I only bought one. The 'Floral cluster/wreath... painted flowers...not sure what it was named. So the tape is paired with stamps and dies! Yes, Stamps and dies. I bought 2 stamp sets, 2 dies, and one washi tape.

The image above shows the wreath & bouquet stamp set. Also the floral cluster dies that match every  one of the images on the washi tape! The image below is the stamp set with the wreath, yes, the dies match every one of the stamps! They are easy to line up too.

Both images show the tape on the roll (above), and on cardstock.

So many possibilities!!

Shows different size. I like 4.5 x 6.
The lavendar oval is a spellbinder die, designer paper, Penny Black verse & washi tape embellishments. The next cards were all  'stamped' using the stamps from the coordinating set.
This was colored carefully with oxide inks.

Used one of the washi tape clusters for another tiny dimension

So that is it for today. Featured the new Pinkfresh collection of dies, stamps and washi tape.

Shadowboxes!

Shadowboxes! Yes, cute little 3 x 5" shadowboxes. The ideas are endless. I made 7 and didn't want to quit ..The base or die is from Lawn Fawn. When the little box is finished it folds flat to fit a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" envelope.  Lets just go crazy!!

Lawn fawns stamp set Butterfly Kisses. Then on the next below I used a Recollections set with the houses & dies together. The Christmas one next had images from Lawn Fawns holiday helpers stamp set

Lawn Fawn Upon a star stamp & die set
This top shadowbox is made with bits of designer papers. The ones below feature Lawn Fawn stamps. Life is good.

August 16th

Friday morning and here is you latest weather update! Yesterday was 111, although  'they' said it would only be 106 degrees. Looks like today will be the same. Oh Joy.  We get up early, I blog, or do whatever I do really early. And now we are walking and that has to be early. It was 85 at 7:00 yesterday. Ugh.
So lets play in the water! Yes, the mermaid fantasy stuff. The first images today are digital. They are from Isabella Cristina on Etsy.

I laid out the (fussy cut) images on the base cardstock so I would have an idea where to place the image and the right colors.

One cs base is 6x6 and the other is 4 1/2x6
This starts the next post Shadowboxes!

Sat August 10th

Yes Lucy loves Emily. Really, like I am a nobody when Emily comes over. Emily has cats.  Notice, this is Lucys very happy face. Really happy here

Sat August 10

Good grief I wrote 'July' as todays date! Yes, it is August & FYI it is running about 106-108 degrees here everyday. Yes it is Summer in Nevada! I have a whole list of cards on my camera stick! So today I will do some cards with mixed themes.  The first of todays cards are made with the new Pinkfresh Designer Element #2. I saw a demo that was so elegant using just white on white. Beautiful. I used the pink and greenish combo because the paper was sitting there next to me. Yeah, white on white is gorgeous!

The next 3cards were inspired by Pollys Pals website. They are 6x6 with the smaller square shaker frame in the center. They were made using paper by Dear Lizzy and a DP watercolor paper stack. You know how I love shaker cards and embellishments.
