 Made these four cards a couple months ago, and yes, I copied the idea. So first let me thank Kelly Taylor for her inspiration! This will be short, hopefully you will like them as much as I do.  

                I am thinkin' Kellys are neater... but there is the mixed media brick wall & the reverse brick on the other card. Can mixed media be perfect? Is it supposed to be? Love the foliage but cannot tell you where they came from. Nice set of dies. Probably Ali. Just stenciled the cut out from the various foliage dies. 

                          Black glossy cs for the Hello. One is called hello there, the other die is named another hello there. It is from Picket Fence studio. 

 I have to say it was fun & just looking at these Hello dies, makes me want to make more cards!

 Still sitting here, and all the forces seem to be working, so I will share another couple cards. These two are the Layered birds/doves  (don't remember) from Honeybee stamps. They really portray the season. Wish I had made more than two of them. 

Editing was part of the computer problem. I could edit, but nothing would 'save'. That made it impossible to blog. I see these two cards didn't make it to the 'save' place. Sorry.

                      This is Thursday, and again I had computer problems .... so lets catch up!

                Worked on this after Christmas. Can you tell I liked the die! Did about five or six. Cover plate from sizzix.  

         Some have inlays, some are just card stock backed. 

                 Older Penny Black Christmas sentiment.

 Sneaked Walter right in here. After all the penguin (aka walter), the joy and the cover plate are Tim Holtz dies too. I did a whole bunch of penguins, but this is the only card that got finished!!

Hi & Good morning! This was a total accident that I opened my blogger post page. Must be trying to tell me something.

                    These are Artsy feathers dies by Tim Holtz

 Love how just changing the background papers, dies or colors change the whole feel of the card. Just add a sentiment when you need one.

Mariannes feather dies on the one above. The textured strips are a Pete Hughes inspiration. 

Looked at these online and one card just had featured all the center 'veins' in black. Changed it completely! Below the card features the Pete Hughes idea with the strips. Pete Hughes - Sizzix Videos Hope this link is viable. If not, just type in his name, there are more!

 HAPPY NEW YEAR!  

Good morning to everyone. I am going to start the new year with another part of the Spellbinder advent calendar that Dawn got for me (before) for Christmas. Really have some catching up to do!

Geometric stencil background #7, hello #16 & double strip embossing folder #15. 

                                 Hard to show properly. 

The layered arches #7, and the #19 word stamps. 

There is another bag of (3) sequins, there is a #24 whale that I can't wait to cut, and a small little flowery square die #21 & the Thinking of you word die #23. I am sure I will use that one often!
