Can't wait to get this started. This is Spellbinders January small die stamp of the month. I said it was the small die, NOT the foil die of the month! WOW! It worked using the foil!
Solid plate up, and the foil pretty side down. Then the CS. Or whatever paper you decide.
Not perfect, The right side of the heart didn't work at all. I am going to go do that again. Be right back. I got sidetracked with, well, I make lots of mistakes. Al even asked if I was tired of messing up!
Interesting.. another Cut. It was white & I foiled the CS with the multi color foil..Not too bad, the 2nd or 3rd time. The arch on the right was foiled on my glimmer plate. I put it on the plate the wrong way. Hopes to use it for something, but finally threw it away!Yup, messed up.. that is the plate below. I did manage to clean it up pretty well.
Ugh.
Below is how the dies should be placed. The the foil on top of the paper cuts. Do cut the foil as close as you can, as the excess will transfer to your top plate. The foil is pretty side down. I put copy paper over the entire plate to protect the top plate.
This is the Small die of the month & I am so excited as it foiled beautifully. It is the die in the center, the foiled die is on the left, and the foiled CS or die cut on the right!
FYI: I heard that if I used the die to cut the foiled arch, that I would lose the foiling. This is not a foil die.
A couple mess ups........
Beautiful background on the solid plate. It is on the black card stock. Just needs to be trimmed up. You know we have embossing powders, and usually the basic silver, gold and copper card stock. I don't have the metal CS, so the colored foils are nice to have available. This turned out to be more foil experiments, and the 'small die of the month' from spellbinders. So drumroll please! Enjoy these couple of cards that I did finish. They are easy! I am sure I will have more to share!
Not sure what colors to use for the hearts!
The center heart has gold cs behind the aqua heart.
Thanks for looking!
