Wow! a second post, and I am much more awake. Absolutely loved making these doggie dies. These are Elaines puppies/ Mariannes Creatables. So much fun!!

Still bummed out about my camera!! Besides it being 110 PLUS degrees for the last 2 weeks, my motivation has been none!  So, I do have some things to share from my broken camera. Just a few. Lets get started with Pink Fresh diamond stamp, with the removable flower diamond, and a big diamond background die. I like the background die better than the stamp. Take a look.

Good Afternoon!

Thanks again for listening to the last post! This time I will share some of the memories Dawn & I had this last week when she was here! We always spend the first day crafting as I said in an earlier post. She cut tons of Elaines puppy dies, then ordered them! So she moved on to Tim Holtz 'Gertrude' and 'Clarence'.

                                                        

                        Yes, she did all this in one night!! They are so cute! Now we need Agnes, the zebra and Theodore the bear (?) I think!!

Saturday August 15th

Certainly not a happy evening for me. This camera, the Canon SR201 has been my 'go to' camera for years! it is so easy. Yes, it is a point and shoot with a zoom that is probably equivalent to a 200 zoom without the lens change. It is bigger than some point and shoots, but still fits in my purse.

It has more attributes, like the hand hold on the side. BUT last night I dropped it on the tile floor and now I have to say good-bye. The lens is jammed and it comes on, instantly shuts off, and nothing will move.  I am so bummed.

Took pictures of it with the Mirrorless Sony, which is a good camera. Has a longer lens to negotiate when taking pictures of my cards.I stand on a stool part of the time anyway. So maybe now I need a ladder!  It does have a longer lens which works outside and for portraits. I have a D-70  which is bigger, longer and heavier. Yes, that is a factor too. I refuse to use the cell phone except for instagram.

August 9th

Who hoo!  Nice surprise this weekend, Dawn is here, and yesterday was a full day of crafting!  Got dressed about 2:00PM. Haven't any idea why we bothered? Allen even fixed us a spaghetti dinner. Did I say how lucky I am?  Later I will photo some of the things Dawn & I accomplished. 

Today I will share some 'fun, fresh, gardeny' images I did a couple weeks ago. Is 'gardeny" a word? Well, you will see!

August 4th

Another 'Rainbow' card share. These are a couple of the cards I deleted! The words are from the Pinkfresh Simply Sentiments 'Hello'. The greetings are big enough for the 'inside' of a card or the message on the outside. Nice. I split the 'stamped' image for a different look.

Another thing to get used to.... Blogger changed its formatting. So far okay, just different.

This morning I will add a couple cards that I liked doing. Got to watercolor one, and color another. The stamp set came from Ali.

The one below is so much prettier in real time! It is a monochromatic and is on a pearl paper.

Monday August 3rd!

More ideas with Pinkfresh Studio dies!

           I pretty much got carried away by 'pinks & lavendars! So tonight's post will be just these ideas, as I deleted my photos while editing! Oh no!! So tomorrow I will have to take the pictures again and post! Hope you enjoy!
