Sunday Afternoon

Pretty day..82 degrees, but there is a nice breeze.  I've been doing something with pictures most of the day. I saw these cards from a month ago, and thought I might share them. The technique was featured in another Jennifer McGuire video. Easy, white embossed on colored paper, using an 'outline' stamp. Then color over your paper with a colored pencil or water brush. We did this technique 20 years agoFun!

Of course you add the sequins or jewels to the front & repeat the pattern on the verse inside. Pretty.... Better than my photo!

                                           Enjoy your day

Sat. May 23rd

Best last week ever! I know I sound like a teenager, but we had family here to visit. It was so nice! Doug (our son), came. He brought his son, our 18 year old grandson. We hadn't seen Zach in almost 3 years!

Both families traveled a long ways to get here.
This is Stacy (granddaughter),with Jeremiah 12, Ben (stacys husband) holding Savannah age 2.
Big surprise for me, Dawn came with Stacy and Stacys husband, Ben. I didn't know she was coming! Dawn is Stacys Mom.
Perfect. Mom & Daughter
Doug, Diana, our adults. Kyle is Dianas adult son & Zack is the other adult!  They grow up and go.... don't they?

Want to see cute?? Our Great granddaughter.

Lucy loves her and Jeremiah too.
Went to Floyd Lamb park Fed the geese. Good grief it was dirty, hundreds of geese and geesey stuff all over.

Looks pretty, but it is yes "Crappy".

May 5th!!

I am so far behind! I have been trying to color the Pink Ink Pigtastic stamp for 3 days. Really having a hard time, but the little girl (?), is growing on me... Show you soon. For today I have some miscellaneous cards to show you.

Not sure what the die is, spellbinders I think. The verse is from Our Daily Bread/ Divinity Designs. The cuts were made a while ago. The roses are painted with Oxide inks. Easy.

Spellbinders labels 18. And the stamp is from Germany and is the most expensive stamp set I ever bought!
Now the next cards were supposed to feature the 3-D embossing folders from Tim Holtz. Turns out I didn't put most of them on this camera. So with that said, I will show you the few that is done.

This is the botanical 3- D done on darker paper with versamark patted on and Rangers pearlescent powder over the top. Jennifer McGuire does a wonderful video with explicit instructions and tips! The beautiful flower folder had Hero arts vanilla ink applied to the folder, then some to highlight the raised flowers. And more pearlescent powder.
I already featured this one, but just wanted to remind you that you can do the same techniques with your regular folders.

Thanks for looking today!
