March Colors!

Are you ready for some vibrant colors? Today is overcast here, so lets cheer up with a rainbow! These are stamps from Stampendous. They market the Laurel Burch line of stamps. And they have a nice chart with suggested colors to use. All very easy!

There is one more shaker card, but I edited it and can't find it right now! And below is just a couple cards I photographed so I could put them away. The triangles are just cut paper. I added the Artful flowers from Simon Says on one of them, and the more open flowers are from Mama Elephant.

March 20th

Hello Hello, hope you enjoyed the 'foodie' post. It is a little different, but I think we all like good food. This time I am featuring some older cards, and some new ones. First the older ones are ones like the ones given to the churches. The front focal point is a scripture. The stamp is from Stamplorations, and I think they have about 6-7 nice bold scriptures. Nice because they can be used on the front of the card or inside the card. Both cards have flowers cut out. They are Winnie & Walters, Ana flora. Nice mixed open flower style.

The next cards feature the NEW Spellbinders feather dies
FEATHERS IN THE WIND.

So please excuse me for not editing, but today has been unusually hard to get these cards in the position that I wanted. Love the lacey look of the feathers. In the top card, I used a Kaisercraft background called stained glass. And for this 'kind of unfinished' card with the sponged look, I used Distress oxide inks on gloss paper & finished them with the Tim Holtz distress stain! So pretty. But of course you can see the card needs some 'glammed up', maybe some sequins or enamel dots. Such an easy card!

Have fun and Thanks for looking!

March is flying by!

Have to say life has been pretty traumatic this month! Had surgery that seemed to go well. But there will be more to come my way.  On a lighter 'note', here are some of the yummy foods I took pictures of this month. No real reason, just yummy!!

This is one of the last ones I was planning to add, but straight from our kitchen... Walla, the Stuffed Pork Chop. Well, easy stuffed chop. I have been enjoying these for years. First fry (yeah fry) a couple chops or 4 or 6, whatever you need to suit your family. Cook a package of Stove Top stuffing mix. Use the package for 2 or 3 chops. For more chops, I would cook a 2nd package of stuffing mix. Now foil line a baking dish. Whatever size fits. And you barely have  a pan to wash.  Put the pork chops in the dish and cover with the stuffing mix, and  a can of GOLDEN mushroom soup. Add a 2nd can for more than 3 chops.  Yes condensed, not watered down, and not the blah old plain mushroom soup. It is awful. Put in a 350o oven (uncovered)  for about 30 minutes. Serve with a lovely salad and enjoy!!

Al's famous breakfast....Yum!!

Breakfast yesterday at Crepe Expectations in Las Vegas! Yes, it was good & fun

Allen had the Italian sausage Crepe and I had the.... Drumroll please..... Elvis. My goodness that was yummy. My favorite word! But the Crepe was loaded with peanut butter, (creamy & gooey), bacon ( Yes, real pieces of bacon), all topped with caramel and whipped cream. So Good!

I was planning on adding some cards that I made, but I will do another post so you can see them!

Enjoy!

Monday Monday

Hello friends! I have some cards to share with you. These are Penny Black stamps. The flower is called Flower Cascade, and I love that it can be positioned in many ways!

Sentiments are Penny Black stamp set.

The sentiment 'wishing you' is a set from Verve Rubber stamps. It has interchangeable verses for the second line. I use this a lot. The 'get well' on the red card is from Avery Elle.

Just one more!

Happy March 1st friends! I have just one more of the 3-D dome cards that I made. I have done 6, so my 'Grannys math' is doing pretty well with these cards. Some time soon I will explain all that! So, the 3-D dome and the following arch dies are designed by Becca Feeken.  Love the results of the lacey look when cut. If I forgot to mention it, the 3-D cards fold flat to mail. I used a 6x6 envelope.

Had more to photograph today, but the weather is not cooperating! The hummingbirds are a punch! So pretty
