Cards today

Today will be a quick share using stamps from Concord & 9th. I actually used some of the color suggestions from Jennifer McGuire. Just to make it easier, I will link you to her you tube. She really gives good instructions. http://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2017/10/backgrounds.html

First off the 'Thanks" is a stamp from the special Winnie & Walter set. It is fussy cut. The card probably isn't my favorite. Maybe better hands-on?? My favorites are the Christmas black and white. I gave myself permission to use my copics on some of the leaves and flower buds around the bigger flower. Lining up can be a real challenge!

So that is it for today!

December 10th

Happy Sunday morning! It is really early here, but today Johnathon is coming to visit! He won't be here until tonight. I am cooking (lasagna), and baking a dessert and cookies ahead, so we will have time together. Making peanut butter star cookies and a dessert that came from my friend Linda via  pinterest.

So before the holidays get too busy  I want to share a bunch of cards I made for the nursing home this year.

These are dies from a tattered lace collection. The 'Joy' card is actually an easel card. I stopped making the easel, as when we had out the cards we usually set them up on their cards by their beds. Too hard to set up and hang on to more bags.

The ribbon die from Mariannes dies. I think I have featured these cards in spring colors with flowers or animal collages...

Did these last year. Love the Memory box poinsettia strip and the branch. The lattice cover plate is from Memory box too.

Another favorite is the 'split' die from My favorite things. Most of these are shaker cards.

Assorted cards

I copied this idea from http://mdoricheva.blogspot.com/2014/10/christmas-blessings.html Yes, it was from 2014. I loved her idea!
This is it until I edit some more pictures

December

Today will be a little 'catch up', then in the next few days I will add some new Christmas cards that I have done through out the year. First, I know the Laurel Burch stamps have been around for years. I just love the bright colors!  These images from Stampendous are different than the small versions from Inkidinkidoo some years ago. Stampendous  will supply you with a download of the color chart for your copics. It makes it so easy!

Oops! I see this last one wasn't edited! It was one that started out kind of 'murky'. and in the end, I really liked it. I just kept adding more cats and more flowers! FYI: some of the images are cut out and raised, some are not.

Tomorrow the teacups!!

Saturday Cards for Christmas

Lovely morning here. I am so blessed, my husband is fixing breakfast as he does every weekend. Yum! So while he is cooking, I will share some cards I made in October and November.

Two of the three images in the frame are from Matties collage which I get from cuddly buddly crafts. Lots of inexpensive, and pretty collage images. The third image is a digital.  The frame is the Flower Square from Precious Marieke. As you can see the 'die' is not a Christmas square. Works nice for all seasons.

This is also a Precious Marieke die called 'Snowflake' . This is just gorgeous. I used Mariannes candles on the red card and have yet to add to the green one. Maybe a JOY in the middle!

Happy November

Thanks to Jennifer McGuire, I made about 7 of these for the nursing home. This is a Hero Arts Holly/die bundle.

Used a snowflake embossing folder. Think Jennifer used the Infinity star die from Hero arts. I really liked it, but don't have one.

Sorry about this. Two of my cards rotated when I loaded them!

Crazy shakes this time. Yes, it was in the 70's (still is),  or 80's when we made these and Christmas cards!

Couture creations Baubble. I wondered why I ordered it, but then decided I liked it. I cut 2 'baubbles'. One on red, and one on green, then put it on the Center Stage die that I cut in gold. Brighter than the picture. Oh, forgot, I added jewels too!

Penny Black Stitched Flowers

A few cards for you to see today. More from Penny Black Stamps featuring another flower with what I call a 'whimsical look'. These 3 cards are easily stamped with memento ink, and colored with copic markers.

The words are from Penny Black Stamps too. And the little cute butterflies are from a Sizzix set that came with stamps of flowers & dies mixed. It is an older set.
