Saturday July 26th

Found another collection on this disc and couldn't remember if I already showed these. I couldn't see them anywhere, so here we go!

                                     Tim Holtz from 2024

From the vault wreath and the sentiment dies.

Not sure if these are Tim Holtz candles. They are separate from the wreath set.
This is a holiday greeting set from Tim Holtz. I saw this stamped on the real wood shapes & didn't have one... so just did a few layers of my 'wood' stamp. Sorry not sure where it is from! Fun.

 Thanks for looking!

Saturday July 26th

Happy Saturday! Today is the day to add to our Christmas in July sharing! I have lots to show since the first of the year, so lets just get  started.

These are dies from Concord & 9th. Everything changes with just that one change of color!

So the pretty colors are out of order! Oh no.

Aren't they fun! A year later and I just want to go do more.

The lighter version is my favorite!!

Thanks for looking & stay cool!

 Welcome to Christmas in July!

                                        Penny Black stamps
                            Just happened on these cuties.

Tuesday July 22nd

This is just an extension of the last 'share'. The camera image is a die from Aall&Create. I am obsessed with the big-eyed characters and the dies are fabulous.

The girls are both from Vera lane studios. The 'flower' girl is called The good life and the angel is 'angelic'

The red part of the background is a rolodex frame called 'sunrise'

The one below is my favorite! The photo frames were from Micheals. Good set. Made the camera from some industrial looking paper.. Asuka and the little people inside the lens and on the filmstrip are really family! The little blonde guy on the left (inside the lens) is my dad. And the littlest girl on the top filmstrip is mom.
Love mixed media. Perfect venue for the camera and photostrip dies!

                                  Thanks for looking again!

Monday July 14th

Hi & Good morning! Its early and we are busy packing. We have nowhere to go, but we are packing! Please excuse if the 'blogging' is off and on. For today I do have a couple cards to show. This is from Pocketful of Happiness. It is a cover die 'retro' I think.

The die looks like alot of inlaid work, but they are strips, maybe 6 strips across. The yellow that shows through is the background paper.

These are really versatile, good for those guy cards too. Sorry about the turquoise throughout, but I cut the entire die each time, so I wanted to use the strips. However, I read that you can cut just parts of the die. You could use up some scraps too! Yes, I had to be told!

Hope you enjoyed & thanks for looking!
Mary

Just one more.........

These are from Pocketful of Happiness. Simply three flower dies with different paper as the background. I didn't add words to the top card, as I am not sure where it is going. But again, these are pretty versatile.

                                                    Thanks!

Saturday July 5th

Happy July!! And, of course Happy Independence Day to America!

We have huge news and we have been super busy. We sold our house in ONE day. Yes, and we have to find a place, and close in 30 days. The stress is crazy! We lost one offer, so starting over......... Actually, it could be a blessing as the bathrooms in the one we made the offer on were not much bigger than the size of a closet. There wasn't a garage and yes, we need one desperately. We will see what happens this week.

Lets get started with my new addiction! It is the Seth
Apter dies. They are contemporary shapes and sizes, could look ethnic or pretty. Yes, they are versatile. Perfect for those masculine cards.

I just cut like a madwoman any and every scrap and more scraps. I spread them all over the kitchen counter and started arranging them in whatever pleasing pattern. Most of the bases are 6x6 black. The next layer is whatever big ugly paper (5 3/4 square) that got sprayed, stenciled and stamped. I did round the corners on a couple.

I love the oxide and the mica sprays!

This one has a purple shadow behind. Going for a softer look.

Thanks for looking

Mary
