October

Yes, its October and for the first time in 7 years, I didn't honor my Gracie. We lost her to kidney failure in October 2018, I miss her.

She used her dish like a skateboard. Had a tile floor and she chased it from the family room to the front door! She rolled with it!
She is so cute & funny!

But then Oct 18th, Lucy Lou enters life! She was adopted by us on Dec 18, 2018. So tomorrow she is officially 7.

Our little sweetie.....And so it begins....Never had one like this one ever. It barks at everything, loves Fed Ex, UPS, Garbage trucks & neighbors. She 'smiles' at everyone. Its a toothy sideways smile. Even the vets recognize it as a 'smile'.
Loves her toys. This was 2021. She was 3 & skinnier. Is that a word?
2022 here. So she was 4. Make no mistake, I could wallpaper with pictures of Lucy. Just a few more!
This is a cross between a smile and a growl. She growls like she is talking. I hope.
All packages are hers......
She wants in Dianas lap, or maybe she is just annoying her! This is last year. Below is last Christmas.

This is guarding. We just ignore her when she does it.

Pretty much what she does all day.
Funny girl. Our froggy dog below!

Happy Birthday to Lucy Lou!

Thanks for looking!

Tuesday Oct 7th

A pretty day here in Washington state. A little chilly this morning, but this afternoon is about perfect! Just made these cards a few days ago, just got them edited and wanted to share! This is a collection of stamps and dies from the Greetery. It is aptly called the Autumn collection. It is awesome. Lets get started.

This is the basic 'capsule' die. And the scalloped capsule die. Featured in these cards are the 'cameo' dies. Two scenic dies and a large stamp set. There is also the border stamp set. Word stamps and dies. The "Give Thanks' card featured the cameo stamp set embossed in gold and cut out with the matching die.
This one features my amateur job of water coloring

There is a 'hot foil' border around the edge of the red. The border around the cameo is gold embossed.

Went off script here with an embossed sentiment, ' Welcome the Splendors of Autumn' gold embossed on the front of the card. Old wooden stamp. So pretty & surprised it still worked!

Last two today. I think these pumpkins are from Papertrey ink. A long time ago.
 Thanks for looking!!

Friday October 3rd

Happy morning! Still early here and am getting ready to bake a red cake! Didn't bake Allen or Doug a birthday cake as it was hot here. Too hot to turn on the oven without 'real' air conditioning. Yeah. Just a wall unit and August was hot! The good news is that Zach is here too, so with Als BBQ ribs and yummy cake will will be ready for another family dinner!

Today I have some cards that I made, and have been intending to share for a couple weeks. Linda gave me this selection of stencils, stamps and dies for my birthday. I was excited! Any crafter would love these. This is the collection (and more), from Waffle flower stamps.

Trying to remember all the pieces, 1st is the dragon stencil, & the open book stencil. Then the sentiment set.

Next is the same open book stencil, but the nativity scene & again, the sentiment set! Linda sent me the book dies too. wow!

The Santa post came with all of the above, so I made that too!\

Just one more the tree postal collage.

Thanks for looking at this loooong post!

September 25th

Hi to all! It is Right in the middle of the day, and I am photographing my cards. Just finished this miscellaneous selection. Thought I might share them before they get lost in the 'SD stick shuffle!! This is an old PSX tulip stamp. Love the tulips! These are removed from the wood. The next two are old, old LOVE from Serendipity stamps, and the bouquet from PSX rubberstamps.

Love this bouquet stamp
Next is a sunflower collage (still on the wood), from USA Art Quest. Just made this one this morning.
Yes, I still love the old wood stamps!

Now for the NEW collection The next four are from The Greetery. It is called Wetlands. There are about 6 dies included. Sorry I don't do props with my posts. If I did you would probably see the same copics, oxides, lace, twine ribbon & whatever else all the time. So no, I don't go digging to make that perfect shot. I shoot for the card.

The multi color 'greens' turned out to be a favorite.

Black splatters (below) look nicer than the gold splatter above.

                                           Thats it for now,

                                         Thanks for looking!
