Wednesday Dec. 18th

Yes, I am still working on my Advent Calendar from Spellbinders. We stopped at Day #10 which is the 'just saying hello' dies. Next is Day #11, a geometric embossing folder. I just couldn't get it right! I overworked the first one with ink blending and mica sprays. I'll think of something someday.

The next is for Day #12, the glass, citrus slice & straw. Pretty cute set! This is where I finally used the embossing folder with the 'glass, straw & citrus slice die set. Makes a great background.

Next is Day #14 the little frenchie die. So Cute. Added one of the four words from Day #13 with the doggies.
Another embossing folder strip for day #15 and again I added Day #16 'You made my day  word dies.

Last one for today I used the #17 rectangle tag type dies for a postal collage. I used an old card for the photos in the frames.

Sunday December 15th

Today I am going to share cards I've made in the last couple weeks using dies, stamps and sequins from the Spellbinders Advent Calendar set.

Dawn gave this to me as an early Christmas present so that I could play along and open a new 'door' each day. She gave me last years calendar too. They are totally different, versatile and so much fun!

Starting with day #1. See door #1 on the left. It is for Dec. 1st.
Hot air balloons on day #1, a corner floral stamp day #2. I made 3-4.25 square cards simply embossed on white with different colored card stock. Check out Instagram for lots of ideas every day!

Both are cards are from 7 tiny cute little flower dies. Day #3

Day # 4 is an assortment of tiny banner word dies. Hello friend, Happy Birthday & Thanks so much. Any of those would have been nice on these cards. You will see, I did use them later. Below is Day #5 squiggly dies. I used it for a border. I saw someone else cut graduated sizes of it and used it as a tree in gold! Pretty!

                     Mr/Ms. Bee is Day #6

Day #7 is a lovely stencil
Day #8 is this lovely vase and lower arrangement. The 'Just Saying Hello' dies are Day #10 & the yellow sequins are Day #9.

Little vase is so versatile!
And yes, I did use the banner words from day #4 on this card made with Katie Pertiet rub-ons and digis. Hello Friend.
Brings me now to Day #11.

Stay tuned for the next post I am about halfway through! I need to edit a couple cards.

Thanks for looking today

Good morning! This is my first share of the last month of 2024! Wow!
I decided on a lovely stamp set by Pink fresh studio, called Happy For  you. The flowers a lovely and the words in the set are

I stenciled and die cut the flowers on these. I used a rounded verse from a different set. The red & yellow flowers below are a mix of stenciling and copic markers.

Again, I love this set! I used a butterfly from a 49th & market rub-on sheet. I love the yellows!

I will be back later with some cute, yes cute cards!

Thanks for looking!

Friday

Not sure where this is going to end up! But I found two more cards I made with the Festive Fayre critters!

Just did some masking and stamping. Oh oh Beary needs something in his hand!! A sign, a heart a bow??

These are oversized images, but they work for this format.   They are cute, but they don't look very exciting here! Auto contrast or levels works wonder. It doesn't look like they were edited.

The Nativity stamp is from Gina K. I used the Waffle flower collage (postal), and it is a different format than Gina K's die.   The stamp set fits in the Gina K die better.  Check out her pictures.

Have the postal stamps from Waffle Flower coming, so will add some Christmas postage to these before they go to their homes.
The next one is worth mentioning. I have no idea why I still have this set. It is at least 25 years old! It is the red rubber on the little wood mounts. Stampin' Up. Might have been the first Christmas card I ever made. But then it was done in watercolor. I love this set.
Love the wise men, the shepherd, the nativity and the star. It was hard to place, as I said it is red rubber. I took them off the mount and could barely see where they were going to land!!

That is it for today!!
