Feb 26th

I really need to stop typing the date, because I realize every time how fast the months fly by! With that said, I did a card this weekend that turned out pretty nice. Not crazy about the photography, but it was fun. The four panel layer card features the Heartfelt Creations paper pack and dies from the lighthouse collection.
Cover is finished with a belly band and a circle from the paper collection.

I have to say this was so easy just using the paper. Added the rope frame die cut, 'postage' type labels & tags also from the paper.
Hope your day is wonderful!

Saturday...

This is the Merry Christmas version of  the Gemini word dies. I am sure I will be doing more! I haven't used the HOPE, PEACE, or LAUGH at all yet!

I added  sentiments like "Peace on Earth" on the inside on a label.

 Thanks for looking!

Thursday

Almost noon here and yes, I did run out of my lovely light! Have a couple more of the Gemini word dies to show today, and the christmas themed ones tomorrow.
The little critters with the Hugs is my favorite!

February 20th!

Have to say this again.... where does the time go? Today will be a long post unless I lose sunlight, and can't finish photographing these cards. Let me tell  you about these dies, stamps and the finished cards.  They are 'word' dies that attach to the bottom of a card, guess that is the best way to say it, although you will see that a simple 'snip' makes them a 'stand alone' die. The ideas could be endless. The list of words is  Hope, Believe, Happy, Birthday (separately), peace, Wish, Sparkle, Wishes, and Hugs. All of these are from Gemini/Crafters Companion, and the ingenious design of Sara Davies.  Oh, I forgot 'smile' and 'laugh'. I will probably remember more throughout.  One more thing, each of these are used with the 'half circle or half cut square,' which are framing dies. Here are some of the pictures for today. Even forgot the Hello!

The 'Hello' is used as a stand alone above & below shows the die set with the words included. Also the half circle dies.
One more thing, I used the Stampendous Stufftainer as a way to store the die/stamp sets. The Stufftainer is 8 1'/2x11 and 1" thick. It does store the sets nicely .

Happy & Birthday are featured both horizontally and vertically on the side of the card. See the difference in the half frame dies. And of course, we have one card with 'Sparkle'.

This is it for now, I will add to this asap.
You have to admit, they are so much fun!!
                                    Thanks for looking !

After Valentines!

Oh Oh, I started this post on valentines day and never finished! At this point I can't even remember why! I guess this comes with age. Happy belated valentines day! Today my little feature card is from Concord & 9th. The stamp with matching die set is called  'just my type'.

These were so easy and so much fun!

Friday Feb 7 th 2020

This is a pretty special day for us. We have be married 44 years! Last night we did what we like to do to celebrate, we went to dinner. This time we tried the 'M Buffet'. It is a little more upscale, and has newer decor.. It had a nice assortment of food. There was a lot to chose from, but ultimately, I might give it a 6 out of 10.
I saw these little (4x4) goodies on Bea Valiants web site.
https://myshinystudio.blogspot.com/search/label/Cards   Everything Bea does is so bright, colorful and fun. These were easy 4x5 x 4x5 cards with shaped fronts. Any die cut would work as an opening.

On the square 'live simply' card, I use Pinkfresh studio Lovely blossom stamp & dies, and the leafy die. More of these to show tomorrow!
Paper is Craft Consortium from the UK. Think that last page needs something more around mr. skunky.

Designer paper. Nice to have double sided papers with some embellishments, labels or stickers to match!

Diana and Doug, about  2 1/2 years ago!

One of my favorites. Ok, its Lucy Lou. The 'squirrel' word was in a pack of  doggie papers. Couldn't believe it as that is what we call her as she walks around the back of my white (?) couch and watches out the window!! She Owns it!

                               Have a Cheerful Friday
                                Thanks for Looking
