Monday Monday

January is almost over!! When you think about 1 of ONLY 12 is over! Wow, doesn't time just disappear? I really don't like opening a blog and reading the woes of the day, or the weather, my apologies. One more thing. The weather is gorgeous here! A sunny 70 degrees today. May as well go for the whole package!

Sue Wilson (Creative Expressions) Noble lavish accented hexagon. This is elegant and easy!

Saturday January 20th!

It  occurred to me that I forgot to add the Birdie Brown Snowman "Waving Hi" cards! So lets start with those . So cute and so much fun to make. First one is a  shaker card!

\

The next card is a clear stamp set from "wish". Have no idea who the original manufacture was. She will make a nice card for a teenager.

Monday

Snow bears & birthday bears today. These are Birdie Brown designs from My Favorite Things Stamps. Had so much fun with both these sets! Years ago, all I did was 'altered art', never the 'cute' little character stamped cards. NOW, with even the grandchildren grown up, I am entering that 'fun' place! Ha! Well, at least for awhile!

I know the stamps are a year or older but keep looking, I bought the Birdie Brown elephants too!

The last two are shaker cards.

These are seriously cute!

January 14th

Crazy idea to post some Christmas cards today. I thought I had posted the Christmas 'deer' with the star dies last year, and I guess not. I like them as they are not the red, green combination, but a softer blue and brown!
I used the Marianne Creatables die for these. The Scalloped background is the folded card base. That is a Marianne die too. ]
Here the star die is the background

These feature toppers from Mariannes and the stitched ribbon die is a Marianne die.

Sunday Jan 7th 2018

Really having a hard time getting used to realizing it is 2018 and writing it! That means lots of different things to all of us. Remember when the years passing was sooo slow? Wonder where that feeling went? And, we are comfortably into the month of January. Company left, we took down the trees, the ornaments and made plans for this new year! I do have some cards to show. Relax, as I have several to show.

Concord & 9th Wild flower stamps. Love the black and yellow! Love the versatility of the stamp. The diagonal stripe is a stamps from My favorite things. The 'bloom on' is a Penny Black stamp and the Hello Sunshine die is part of a set from Stamploration.

Need to add some credits here. The sponging and "glitter frame' idea is from Kelly Latevola  . Here is the link for Kelly using the O Holy Night verse from Honeybee stamps. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODL_c_GyFFI  Besides using the concord & 9th wildflower stamp, Kellys idea I used digital Hymn stamps from Kristi at http://www.ishouldbemoppingthefloor.com/  This is shout out to both these talented women!

There are 10 of the Hymns & I will definitely do more like this. Of course, I did order the O Holy Night stamp too!

What a friend we  have in Jesus all our sins and griefs to bear. What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer..
The rest of the song is calming & true. This was my Mothers favorite.

                      HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

We did have a nice Christmas this year!  I was busy with company two time this month, so my blogging was put on hold. I do have a couple Christmas cards to show you. I know, "Its January 1st", but I just can't wait a whole year for you to see these cards.
Polkadoodles digital download. It is called Winnies Winter or Winter Winnie. There are pre-colored and B&W images in the download. These are the pre-colored. Quick and easy!

Used a variety of dies to offset the circle images. The red one in this image is the Spellbinders Stately Circle.

Okay, just a few more to show you! Wait for it! next post
