Monday

What better day to blog than a holiday! Well, it is supposed to be 106 degrees here. Sooo, that means staying at home is easier than driving with an oven mitt. Not covid.

This is a Pinkfresh Studio stamp & co-ordinating stencil. They are called Heartfelt Thanks. The card below was colored with copic markers onto lt. lavendar card stock.

The lighter one is the one colored using the stencil set.
Embellished with memory box 'moon drops'
                                       Thanks for looking!

Forgot to show you my cute little 'mini' slimline.

That is a punch I used on the edges for the first time in a long time! And isn't that stamp versatile? Love it!
                                               Thanks again!

Friday

I promised a card post and this is it! Pretty short and sweet (?) cute. This is a stamp from Woodware. Fits the slim line cards perfectly.

                     Isn't the peeking gnomie cute?

I masked off the gnome & mushroom then stenciled with a pink fresh stencil combo. There are 2 of them.
                                  Thanks for looking!

September

Lucy got a new toy and she wants to show you! Actually she looks for toys when we shop. She sniffs out her balls. It is sooo cute!!

You can really see the blue 'lower' half of her eye. The other eye is blue at the upper half.  Adorable, almost 3 years old.
One more thing to share, then I will share some cards.
                                   Our backyard  flowers

These are really pretty now. There are some lavendar and white ones too. It may be September, but it is still over 100 degrees.

Thanks for looking & we will do a little card 'post'.

August 30th

Quick quick, another easy card. I posted one card when I got the die, but since then I made a dozen more. 'Thinking of you' is always nice for any occasion. Die is from Concord & 9th.

Used patterned & watercolored paper that was just laying around waiting for the right time!

Thanks for looking today!

Monday

Monday, that means Lucy is busy barking at the garbage trucks today. Oh, fun. Its early, so maybe I can do a quick card share! I didn't do the card below, but it is a good showing for the flower die cut. Into the Bloom from Paper Trey ink.

Scrappy tails 'brick wall' die

Looking at the words on this they look too big. However, on this slimline, they really do fit well. Add a little something to the inside.

                                       Thanks for looking!

Wednesday

Today I want to share with you some cards made with OLD stamps. Yes, at least 15 (maybe even 20) years old. They were red rubber on the wood mounts. I say were because I took all of the stamps off of the wood, and added the cling so that it would stay on my misti. Some of my stamps are really old /like the PSX stamps. Wow that was a long time ago. Anyway they are drying out, so they have to be positioned on the misty and stamped more than one time.

FYI : I can't do anything without my Misti!

So lets get started! The first stamp is the tulip from A Stamp in the Hand. Remember they were the company that sponsored the rubber stamp convention in Carson, Ca. How we looked forward to that! Remembering their demos with Joyce. She was so good.

The tulips look funny off the mount, but they work! I used ink
pads to ink up the different colors then I used versamark and clear embossed.

The next two below are from Judikins. They were known for their beautiful big backgrounds. They also had fabulous demos at the conventions, and both companies just generated excitement!!
Any pretty paper will work & add some extra butterflies!
The bouquet and frame are from Pinkfresh Studio.

I gold embossed the Judikins beaded background, and then paper-clipped a couple ideas! Or you could add some color......
Of course now I can't get rid of them ever.....
Hope you had fun looking!

Oh, wait there is one more 'lovely' thing. These are the flowers I got for my birthday from Doug. They are stunning!

                                                           They smell so good!

                                                                    Thanks again, Mary

Friday

It is later than I usually share, but I am tired of the TV.... Yes, reruns or repetition. So, maybe some pretty cards will be nice! I used an Altenew die. I think it is called layered poppy, but it looks more like a rose to me. This is one of the dies I didn't want to stop making. So easy. The smaller flower is only 3 pieces. Love it.

You know I love this little 3 1/2x 6 inch size. I even made my own envelopes! And the scallop die is from a Taylored Expression 'mini' slim line set.

Designer paper with the 'poppy' pattern.  And most of the words are the Spellbinder 'mini' sentiments with the hot foil technique.

The card above is A-2 size. Just a little different, but the same flowers! Too fun!!

                                Back to the re-runs..............

                                  Thanks for looking,
